So in the true spirit of LCA fun, a summer project was assigned. Create a "me-doll" to represent your interests and inspirations not only in your art work, but also in your personal life. Introducing "mini-me"....
Well, I may aswell explain the poor thing...
Les Bras. From the front, just 2 simple arms, but flip little miss dolly round to reveal the musical note... and more importantly my love for music! |
Les Petites Chaussures. Complete with a Vivienne Westwood ribbon, to represent the internship I did in London in '08. Oh Viv, she's such a lovely lass. |
Les Cheveux. The crafty use of some old 'good for nothing, now good for something' hair extensions. Yes, it IS a doll with genuinely stylable hair. I had much GHD fun! |
La Couronne. Self explanatory right?! Crown + Drama = Drama Queen. When preceded by "you are SUCH a.." has to be the most commonly heard phrase in my life. |
La Robe. I had to use something see-through so the little sewing buttons could be exposed. So I opted for some old curtain fabric kindly donated by my charming boyfriend's mother. And what of the sewing buttons I hear you ponder...? Well, they are of course to represent my creativity, and love for fashion design. The sweet little things were given to me by (again) my charming boyfriend's aunty. Apparently she saw them and (rather excitedly) instantly knew who to get them for! Awww, what a nice bunch his family are! :) |
La Guitare. Well I could hardly leave out Mr Charming now could I?! Oh what most girls would give for a truly romantic serenade. Yes, this represents him and his second favourite love in the whole wide world... Well I must be the first! |
